The news have made headlines worldwide that Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg is going to be awarded a degree from Harvard. The most famous college dropout of our generation, Mr. Zuckerberg is the acting CEO of Facebook presently and is one of the youngest Billionaires in the world.

But don’t get so hyped up, the 32 yearold is not going back to school. Actually Harvard is having it’s 366thCommencement ceremony on Thursday, on 25th of May, and Mark is going to bedelivering the commencement address as the guest speaker to the class of 2017,obviously implying the fact that he will be awarded the honorary degree.

An official statement was released by theHarvard President Drew Faust in the Harvard Gazette in which he was quotedsaying;

“Fewinventions in modern times can rival Facebook in its far-reaching impact on howpeople around the globe interact with one another. And few individuals canrival Mark Zuckerberg in his drive to change our world through the innovativeuse of technology, as well as his commitment to advance science, enhanceeducation, and expand opportunity through the pursuit of philanthropy.”

10 years have passed sincethe last time any Harvard Tech Billionaire dropout was invited as a guest, weare talking about none other than Bill Gates. Mr. Gates spoke at the commencement back in 2007 and this year, after passingof a decade, Mark Zuckerberg will be doing the honors for the graduates of2017.
